Duane J. 'PeeWee' Hagge
Duane J. "PeeWee" Hagge, 86, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, at The Alverno Health Care Facility in Clinton.  His funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20, at Faith Lutheran Church in Andover.  Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the service hour Monday at the church.   Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Casket bearers will be his nephews. 

Memorials may be given to the American Alzheimer's Association.

Duane was born March 25, 1931, in Teeds Grove, the son of Eddie and Clara Greve Hagge.  He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War in 1951-1953. He married Evelyn Farley on Oct. 4, 1952, in Andover.  Duane was a farmer most of his life and had been a truck driver for Pillsbury Mills. 

He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and Miles American Legion Post No. 677. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a volunteer for the Andover Fire Department. 

He enjoyed ballroom dancing, woodcutting, and picking walnuts, cherries, and apples.

Duane is survived by his wife, Evelyn Hagge of Clinton; a brother, Kenneth Hagge of Clinton; a sister, Marlene (Gilbert) Bott of Clinton; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters-in-law, Joan Hagge and Maxine Hagge.
